This picture was shot just after Dil Chahta Hai. It has a cult kind of look. I used a wide-angle lens and made the hand come really close to the camera, so it looks big. It has a very fashion feel to it too.

The glasses give a very retro 1980s kind of look. I wanted the mood to be full of attitude, not just a glamour shot.

Saif has always had a great sense of style, even before Dil Chahta Hai happened to him.

He lives next to my house -- I have known him longer than most film people. Those days, I used to shoot a lot of pictures of Pooja Bhatt. I remember the first time I walked into his house, he told me, "Please make me the male Pooja Bhatt in your life."

We used to shoot a lot in his house with his guitar and dogs. He is great fun to be with. We have similar interests like computers, gadgets, electronics and cars.
