We all know about Madhuri Dixit being your muse. Why the shift to Tabu?

M F Husain: Madhuri suggested that we look at Tabu for the new film. She was really impressed with her performance in Chandini Bar!

And Tabu has done a great role. I never gave her any brief for the entire Prague sequence. Yet, she has brought out Maria so beautifully that I didn't need to direct her at all.

Owais: All the artistes [the others leads are Raghuvir Yadav and Kunal Kapoor] were so happy shooting this film that they didn't want to wrap up the film at all.

They were given complete freedom to do their own thing. Santosh [Sivan, cinematographer] and Tabu and all were really unhappy to wind up the last schedule.
