Meenaxi: Tale of 3 Cities marks M F Husain's second foray into the celluloid world.

From painting film hoardings to making movies, Husain Sr has traversed a long and checkered journey.

Assisted by his painter son Owais, Husain put together a story that flits from exotic city to exotic city. Based in Jaisalmer, Hyderabad and Prague, his heroine Tabu alternates between Meenaxi in India and Maria in Prague.
