Ram Gopal Varma is known to open his doors for new talent. His previous protégé, Prawaal Raman's Darna Mana Hai opened to mixed reviews. Now, Ramu has invited newcomers from all over India to give him ideas and direct the sequel, Darna Zaroori Hai.

Last heard, television personality Sajid Khan and brother of choreographer Farah Khan, had been roped in to direct one of the stories in the film.

Varma has quite a few such projects up his sleeve: Shimit Amin's Ab Tak Chappan, based on police encounters in Mumbai; Taufeeq Ahmed's Nimmi, about a child trapped in a forest and Rajneesh Thakur's Chala Vinod Tiwari Film Banane, about a small-town man who comes to Mumbai to make a film.

Main Madhuri... hits the screens on October 3.
