A Varma Corporation discovery, Rajpal Yadav has acted in over 20 films. Main Madhuri... sees him as the lead hero and serious character for the first time.

The 30-year-old actor, who passed out from National School of Drama in 1997, hails from Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh.

Yadav managed to get a small role in E Niwas's Shool, his first film. But his big break arrived when Ramu cast him in a noticeable role in Jungle. He has since worked in quite a lot of films for Varma, including Company, Road, Bhoot and Darna Mana Hai.
