Just when the paparazzi was going overboard with the much-hyped wedding plans of Hollywood actors Ben Affleck, 31, and Jennifer Lopez, 33, here comes a bummer. A report in The San Deigo Union Tribune says the couple has postponed their wedding due to excessive media attention.
In a joint statement released by J-Lo's New York-based spokesperson Dan Klores, the duo say, 'We began to feel that the spirit of what should have been the happiest day of our lives could be compromised. We felt what should have been a joyful and sacred day could be spoiled for us, our families and our friends'.
Earlier, a snippet in Extra revealed Lopez had decided on yellow and white roses for the wedding. It also said the couple would exchange gold wedding bands specially created for the occasion by jeweller Harry Winston.

Another report in USA Today had mentioned that Hollywood hottest duo are being offered obscene amounts of money for pictures from their wedding. Both Affleck and Lopez have, however, turned down the offers from the paparazzi.
So when's the wedding? While some media pundits predict that the postponement is a ploy to get rid of the media, nothing is confirmed yet!
The new Twist in Polanksi's life
Known for serious fare like Chinatown, Rosemary's Baby, and The Pianist, Poland-born filmmaker Roman Polanski has begun work on his new project.
Surprisingly enough, his new film doesn't deal with the Holocaust or analyse the inner workings of the incredible human mind. Instead the Oscar-winning director is all set to adapt Charles Dickens's much read novel Oliver Twist for the big screen, says a report in Guardian Unlimited.
But the 60 year-old isn't the first to do so. The same report reveals that there have been about 3,000 adaptations of Dickens's novels, including 87 films and 71 television dramas.
Interestingly, it was Polanski's children who inspired him to take up this challenge.
His Oliver Twist will predominantly star British actors and go on the floors next summer. Though the book is set in London, it is doubtful whether Polanski will shoot his film there. In the 1970s, Polanski was charged in the United States with having sex with a minor. The actor hasn't entered the US or the UK since.
Hollywood's fave martyr: Tom Cruise
If the news in Ananova.com is true, Tom Cruise will don some war paint in The Few. Cruise has been approached by Paramount Films to star as Billy Friske, an American pilot fighting the Germans during World War II.
Director Michael Mann (The Last of The Mohicans, The Insider, Ali), also at the helm of Cruise's unreleased Collateral, has been roped in to direct this war drama.
While ex-wife Nicole Kidman is making waves in Toronto, Cruise is busy with the promotion of yet another war flick, The Last Samurai.
