Actors and technicians who have featured in Mukta Arts productions were awarded for their contributions. Some of the recipients were Anil Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Kareena Kapoor, Hrithik Roshan and Perizaad Zorabian.

Though none of the women who were launched by Ghai -- Meenakshi Sheshadri (Hero), Madhuri Dixit (Ram Lakhan), Manisha Koirala (Saudagar) and Mahima Chaudhry (Pardes) -- were present at the party, some of them expressed their best wishes sent across via video clips.
