Vivek has not had a good 2003. First, he had a public showdown with Salman Khan, whom he accused of calling him [Vivek] up 41 times at night and threatening him. Then he had an accident on the sets of Mani Ratnam's Yuva in Kolkatta when a bike went over his left foot.

But he is optimistic. "After a difficult year, my dreams are coming true. I have a very important, prestigious role in Kisna. Every actor who has grown up in India and has had a healthy diet of Hindi cinema is familiar with Subhashji."

He said his leg is much better. "Hopefully, I'll soon be able to run again. In the last three months, the one thing I've really missed is dancing. So I hope to get back to that really soon!"
