Even with her small role in Mani Ratnam's Dil Se, which boasted of a star cast including Shah Rukh Khan and Manisha Koirala, Preity Zinta made her mark.

Her achievement is all the more noteworthy if you take into consideration the fact that Preity has no relatives or godfathers in the industry.

This year, she starred in the only genuine blockbuster, Koi... Mil Gaya, with Hrithik Roshan.
