Around The World..., based on the famed novel by Jules Verne, was first made as a silent film in 1914. Its 1956 remake went on to win an Oscar. In 1989, it was made into a mini-series for American television. In 1998, it was made into an animated film.

Jackie's character was originally played by Mexican actor Cantinflas, a gifted physical comedian who also performed his own stunts.
