The fifth Bollywood Awards 2003 on May 3 saw some of Hindi cinema's beautiful people congregate at the Trump Taj Mahal in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

"I have rarely seen so many Indians together here," the girl behind the counter at Sbarro's told me while I waited for the bill. "There was another party once before and that was when I realised Indians are so beautiful!"

The awards were presented by Kamal Dandona at the Mark G Etess Arena.
