Former Miss World (2000) Priyanka Chopra also debuts in Hindi with Andaaz.

The daughter of an Army officer, Priyanka has travelled around the country and completed her schooling in Boston, USA. Her career choices included software engineering and criminal psychology. Fate led her to participate in the Femina Miss India contest instead.

Nicknamed Sunshine and Mimi, Priyanka claims her good luck charm is her bracelet, which says Om Namah Shivaya.

Priyanka admits Andaaz is a regular love story. "There is nothing hatke about it. But it is the way the romantic scenes have been treated, and the tiny details, that make it special."

After Andaaz, she will be seen in Anil Sharma's The Hero, starring Sunny Deol and Preity Zinta, Deol's Gandhi and KC Bokadia's Ek Haseena Ek Deewana.
