Kushan met Kiran Shroff, who produced and wrote Zee TV’s Thriller At 10 and X-Zone during his television days.
The two hit it off instantly and founded their production company, Sarvodaya Visuals.
While Kiran has masterminded the story and screenplay, Kushan penned the dialogues of 88 Antop Hill.
Antop Hill, bordering central Mumbai's Wadala precinct, is home to the largest central government employees' colony in the city and also a large number of slums. Over the years it has gained a certain level of notoriety. Earlier, the area was known for illicit liquor dens and prostitution. Later, murders and robberies became commonplace. In the 1990s there were even some encounters with suspected Sikh and Kashmiri terrorists.
