Rani Mukerji has a lot of things common with her co-star.

Like Ajay Devgan, her last two films, Saathiya and Chalte Chalte were hits. And like him, she has some of the best projects in her kitty, including Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Black (co-starring Amitabh Bachchan) and Bajirao Mastani (co-starring Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor), Ashutosh Gowarikar's Swades (co-starring Shah Rukh Khan) and Ketan Mehta's The Rising (co-starring Aamir Khan).

Chori Chori will be Rani's first film with Devgan.

Kareena Kapoor was the first choice for the female lead, but she opted out due to date problems.
