Raj Babbar launches his daughter in a script he wrote for himself and his late wife Smita Patil. The unusual love story teams Juhi Babbar with singer-turned-actor Sonu Nigam, who says this, and not Jaani Dushman in 2002, was meant to be his launch pad.

Ravindra Peepat, who directed Babbar and Patil in Waaris, wields the baton in this musical.
