J P Dutta has a penchant for multi-starrers. LoC-Kargil is no different. The film features 26 heroes and 11 heroines.

While Suniel Shetty (Border, Refugee), Sanjay Dutt (Hathyar, Kshatriya), Akshaye Khanna (Border), Abhishek Bachchan (Refugee), Kareena Kapoor (Refugee), Raveena Tandon (Kshatriya) have worked with the director before, it is the first time Ajay Devgan, Saif Ali Khan, Manoj Bajpai, Nagararjuna, Sanjay Kapoor, Rani Mukerji, Mahima Chaudhry, Esha Deol, Namrata Shirodkar, Isha Koppikar and Priya Gill are working under the Dutta banner.
