House of Sand and Fog

Plot: Kathy Nicolo (Connelly) is an alcoholic who has been dumped by her husband. More distress comes her way when their house is put on auction. An expatriate Iranian colonel (Kingsley) is most keen to buy the house, but Nicolo is in no mood to let it go.
