Not two 'hot' for Raveena!

There was talk about Raveena Tandon's guest number in Harry Baweja's Qayamat having been scrapped because the dance numbers by heroines Neha Dhupia and Riya Sen were too 'hot'. Raveena Tandon

Apparently, Neha wore a minuscule bikini while Riya gyrated to an oomph number.

But Baweja dismisses all such talk with a laugh: "I can't figure out why such things are written without checking with me."

The film also stars Suniel Shetty, Ajay Devgan, Chunky Pandey and Isha Koppikar.

'Musafir' PriyankaPriyanka Chopra

Former Miss World Priyanka Chopra has been roped in for Sanjay Gupta's latest directorial venture Musafir.

The film also stars Anil Kapoor, Suniel Shetty, Mahesh Manjrekar and co-producer Sanjay Dutt.

Chopra has also signed on for Rajiv Rai's Asambhav, starring Arjun Rampal, Naseeruddin Shah, Dipannita Sharma and Paresh Rawal.

She made her debut in Anil Sharma's The Hero: Love Story Of A Spy, with Sunny Deol and Preity Zinta recently.

When Perizaad turned Ghai downPerizaad Zorabian

Perizaad Zorabian, who is now shooting for Subhash Ghai's forthcoming Joggers Park, had refused the role of Hrithik Roshan's fiancée (eventually played by Kiran Rathod) in Ghai's Yaadein.

"I wanted to establish myself as the leading lady. In our film industry, once you play a character, you get straitjacketed. So I refused to play sidekick to someone," she says.

Joggers Park is directed by Anant Balani.

Poonam Jhawer's double role

Aanch co-producer Poonam Jhawer, who worked opposite Suniel Shetty in Rajiv Rai's Mohra (also starring Akshay Kumar, Raveena Tandon and Naseeruddin Shah) will be seen in a glamorous role in her new film, co-produced by B L Saboo.

The other cast of Aanch includes Nana Patekar, Paresh Rawal, and Ayesha Jhulka and introduces Vyjayantimala Bali's son Suchindra Bali. The film is expected to hit the marquee in June 2003.
