The review

Guddu Dhanoa was clearly not suited to direct a historical and Bobby Deol was just not right for the part of Bhagat Singh. He plays the intense, committed patriot with the same loose-limbed, droopy-eyed jauntiness as he would a modern playboy.

Sunny Deol had to give himself the best action scenes as Chandrashekhar Azad and the film turned out a curry Western more than a period biopic.
