Hrithik in song!

Hrithik Roshan After capturing headlines for his film Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai for more than a year, heart-throb Hritik Roshan will now don the mantle of singer for Hindi films, too.

Hritik, who went on to receive several awards after his success in Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai, has rendered his voice for Tumse yeh kehna hai -- a song in his latest fim, Aap Mujhe Achhe Lagne Lage.

The Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai pair, Hritik and Amisha Patel, have lead roles in this film.

The song is written by Dev Kohli and the music director is Hritik's uncle Rajesh Roshan.

Hrithik Roshan and Amisha Patel Producer Mohan Kumar said that Hrithik was very excited in his new role as a singer: "He has taken it seriously."

Some earlier stars who have sung for Hindi films are Ashok Kumar, Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Govinda, Sanjay Dutt and Nana Patekar. Not to forget the one and only Kishore Kumar who excelled in singing as well as acting.
