'I will not do frivolous, frothy roles anymore'

Namrata Shirodkar is riding high on a horse these days.

On a recent visit to Delhi, she said she is not doing films merely for fame and glamour.

''I had my share of all that when I started modelling. Nor am I here to make a fast buck.''

For one who has kept a low profile in Bollywood, she claims, "The reason why I have not indulged in signing spree is because I will not do frivolous, frothy roles anymore. I need some meaningful films in my CV.''

Is it just the case of mouthing tried-and-tested punchlines? Let's hope not. And wish the gal good luck and expect good films, unlike Mere Do Anmol Ratans and Hero Hindustanis.
