Dreamgirl's charm works!

Komal Nahta

Hema Malini It happened at the Yes! show organised in Bombay earlier this week.

Hema Malini was one of the honoured guests at the show. But the lady arrived at the venue a few minutes late.

On reaching there, she saw some ladies -- latecomers like her, but who had purchased tickets -- not being allowed entry because they were late.

Obviously, since she was an invitee, the rules did not apply to Hema Malini and the organisers tried to give her a smooth passage into the auditorium.

Seeing this, the ladies gheraoed the actress saying that if she went in, they should be allowed entry too! They even appealed to her feminist instincts and told her that being a lady, she should 'fight' for the rights of the other ladies.

Hema requested them to let her go in, promising to do something to ensure their entry into the auditorium.

Once inside, she used her charm and, like a true heroine, got all the ladies entry into the auditorium.
