 Plot: Love brews between a radio journalist and an Assamese suicide bomber. Unfortunately, it can only head towards Doomsville.

Missile: Mani Ratnam had all the ingredients for a successful film, but failed to come up with a decent narration. In attempting to deal with the dual issues of love and terrorism, Dil Se.. ended up dealing with neither.

Blast from the past: Nothing could save the film -- not Shah Rukh Khan, not A R Rahman's enthralling music, not even the spectacular song picturisations!!!
