Mohabbatein's lucky star!

Komal Nahta

Shamita Shetty Of all the newcomers of Aditya Chopra's Mohabbatein, Shamita Shetty seems to be the lucky one to have been signed for another film.

Coincidentally, this film, too, has Mohabbat in its title.

Shamita has been finalised to pay the female lead opposite Chandrachur Singh in Satish Khanna's Mohabbat Ho Gayi Hai Tumse.

Incidentally, this is a line from the hit song of sister Shilpa Shetty's Dhadkan.

However, Satish Khanna has a reputation of taking years to complete his film. His Kaali Basti, released in 1985, was a stale product.

Khanna's Sanjay Dutt starrer, Anokhi Ada, has been in the making for about a decade now and is still incomplete. And its heroine, Shilpa Shirodkar, has since quit films.

So should Shamita Shetty be happy or sad?
