The venue. A jam-packed Wankhede Stadium in Bombay.

The teams. Hrithik XI versus Sachin XI.

The cause. A charity match to raise funds for drought relief.

Eventually, it was master blaster Sachin Tendulkar's team that came out on top. But if you wanted to know who the audience considered the winner, you just had to listen to crowd roar each time Hrithik Roshan made an appearance.

If that were not enough, one only had to listen to the deep groans of disappointment when, instead of Hrithik, one of his team members, came on the field to bat.

Eventually, though, a good time was had by all, with the funds raised going towards a worthy cause.
