Sushil Kumar has become an overnight star after winning Rs 5 crores on Kaun Banega Crorepati 5.
A shy 27-year-old computer operator from Bihar, Sushil is now busy giving interviews to the media.
He chatted with rediff readers this morning. Here's the transcript for those who missed it.
Mihir asked, Hi Sushil, how are you feeling today?
Sushil Kumar answers, I am very happy. It still feels like a dream.
Cheris asked, Sushil Kumar, has things changed around you after winning KBC. What are the reactions of your family, friends and relatives?
Sushil Kumar answers, Everyone is very happy. My wife is with me and she is very delighted. My family and friends back in bihar have been sending me congratulatory messages. The phone has not stopped ringing since the news came out
Patcy asked, What are you planning to do with the money you've won?
Sushil Kumar answers, I will be building my dream house. I'll also be studying for the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) exam and I would like to help my brothers to start their business. I would also like toc ontribute some money towards the society by helping the poor and needy children in their studies.
Gauri asked, Is it true that KBC is fixed?
Sushil Kumar answers, No it is not fixed.
Rani asked, Were you nervous sitting in front of Amitabh Bachchan?
Sushil Kumar answers, I was nervous but I was very happy and overjoyed. He knew I was nervous but he made me feel comfortable
'It is not a fluke to win KBC'
Rani asked, Have you ever tried your luck on any other kind of gaming show?
Sushil Kumar answers, No I have never participated in any other game show.
piyushJ asked, Please let us know which books to refer to for preparation before one sits in KBC
Sushil Kumar answers, Read daily newspapers, magazines. You should also refer to class 8 to class 12 NCERT books.

Sushil Kumar answers It is not a fluke. It is all true

Sushil Kumar answers, It is all false and I don't think anything like this happens
Divya asked, Did you get a Rs 5 crore cheque or was the 33 per cent tax deducted at source. always curious about how much money one actually gets after winning
Sushil Kumar answers, Even if the tax gets deducted I am very happy and feel very proud because I'll be able to help in the betterment of our own country. I dont think I could have helped my country grow in any better manner.
Cheris asked, Sushil Kumar, What would your reaction had been if you would have lost at the last question
Sushil Kumar answers, I was confident that I was right. I would be shocked and would be in a trauma if I would have lost at the last question
Cheris asked, Sushil Kumar, If given a chance would you like to play KBC again?
Sushil Kumar answers, Yes I would love to sit on the hot seat again.'Amitabh Bachchan is a very down to earth person'

Sushil Kumar answers, He is a very down to earth person. When you interact with him you feel like he is a part of your family. He made me feel very confident

Sushil Kumar answers, I was a little nervous but at the same time I was very confident.

Sushil Kumar answers, Yes I think everyone is telling me this and it feels she has also contributed in my success
rush asked, God forbid, if you don't pass civil exams, what is your back-up plan?
Sushil Kumar answers, I am sure and confident I will be passing my exams. I dont believe in thinking negative

Sushil Kumar answers, The process started in May and I sent an SMS. the computer randomly selects the mobile number and asks 3 questions and if you answer all of them correctly you are called for an audition. The audition are n 3 rounds. The first round has 10 question. The second round has 40page bio-data and then questions are asked. The last round is a where they shoot a video to know how confident you are in front of a camera. Thats how you reach the list of final contestents in KBC
anide asked, hi sushil, first congratulations....my didn't understand why were you too much emphisizing on your low salary in KBC...is it because you wanted simple questions from KBC?
Sushil Kumar answers, Its nothing like that. The questions are randomly selected. You should try and participate in KBC and then probably your negative approach would be answered.
