
IT major Infosys has won several awards for its energy efficient buildings.
The company bagged the LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) India 'Platinum' rating by Indian Green Building Council (IGBC) for its Software Development Block 5 (SDB 5) in Mysore, Hyderabad and Jaipur.
The total Platinum certified building area at Infosys stands at 780,000 sq. ft.
The LEED-India Green Building Rating System is a nationally and internationally accepted benchmark for design, construction and operation of high performance green buildings.
