Honda to unveil crossover study model at Auto Expo

Japanese auto major Honda will showcase a range of products, including the global unveiling of study model of a new crossover -- Honda Vision XS-1, at the upcoming Auto Expo.

Outlining the company's plans for India's flagship auto show, the firm said in a statement that it will globally unveil a new creative model, the Honda Vision XS-1.

"Honda Vision XS-1 is a study model of a new crossover model which features sporty styling and outstanding utility space based on Honda's unique packaging technologies," the company said.

The company's Indian arm Honda Cars India Ltd will showcase a wide range of exhibits, including the Accord Hybrid as well as the Honda Mobilio, the all-new 3rd generation Honda Jazz, which are scheduled to be introduced in India in future, it added.

It will also showcase production models, including the 4th generation all-new City and the compact sedan Amaze equipped with advanced i-DTEC diesel engine.

Other production models on show will also include the hatchback Brio and sports utility vehicle CR-V.

Besides, Honda said its two-wheeler arm Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Ltd will exhibit a variety of motorcycle products, including an all-new scooter.

The Auto Expo will be held at the India Expo Mart in Greater Noida. While February 5-6 will be press days, public days are from February 7-11.
