Delhi, Mumbai among world's richest cities

There are some cities in the world where earnings are really high.

Based on a ranking released by UBS, a Swiss banking giant, we present 30 most richest cities, including two from India, in the world.

New Delhi

Rank in 2009: 70

New Delhi is one of the fastest growing cities in the world. It is home to three Unesco World Heritage Sites: Humayun's Tomb, the Qutb complex and the Jantar Mantar.

It is one of the world's top global cities.

Mumbai

It is the most populous city in India, and the fourth most populous city in the world, with a total metropolitan area population of about 20.5 million.

Along with the neighbouring urban areas, including the cities of Navi Mumbai and Thane, it is one of the most populous urban regions in the world.

The Michelin Guide has awarded Tokyo by far the most Michelin stars of any city in the world.

The ranking assesses five dimensions: value of capital markets, diversity of human capital, international information resources, international cultural resources, and political influence.

Chicago has been ranked by The Atlantic as the world's fourth most economically powerful city, and by Forbes as fifth most powerful.
