India's richest man, Chairman and Managing Director of Reliance Industries, Mukesh Ambani is celebrating his 55th birthday today. Mukesh Ambani joined Reliance in 1981 and initiated Reliance's journey from textiles into polyester fibres and further into petrochemicals, petroleum refining and going up-stream into oil and gas exploration and production.
Under his leadership, Reliance Industries has grown to become India's most valued company.
