Bansals of e-commerce company Flipkart and Aditya Ghosh of low-cost carrier Indigo have made into Fortune's young achievers list for their initiatives in creating job opportunities.

According to '40 under 40' list prepared by Fortune, Bansals - Sachin and Binny - have bagged the 26th place while Ghosh was placed 27th in the elite list.

The ranking of young business stars is topped by Google CEO Lary Page, followed by Facebook co-founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg.

Besides, Marissa Mayer has grabbed the third rank within months of joining Yahoo. The Internet firm had appointed Mayer, a long time Google executive, as president and CEO of Yahoo in mid-July.

Others in the top five are Google co-founder Sergey Brin, Greg Jensen of Bridgewater Associates and Twitter and Square co-founder Jack Dorsey.

The publication said the Bansals started Flipkart in 2007, which originally sold books like Amazon, but has since become the largest e-commerce site in India.

It further said, "Last year, Flipkart hired 2,000 new employees and says it will grow fast enough to hire 5,000 more in the coming year."

Talking about reason behind the success of Ghosh, Fortune said, "No frills, all the way. His office is small, with no receptionist and no marketing department. On business trips he stays in budget hotels with the rest of his staff."

IndiGo, which is estimated to have over $1 billion in revenues, had created 2,500 jobs in the past year.

Executives making their way to the top 10 of this Fortune list include Tiger Global Management's Chase Coleman, CBS News president David Rhodes, Cesar Conde and David Rhodes of Univision Networks, Heineken's president and CEO Dolf van den Brink.
