The Indus Entrepreneurs -- Hyderabad chapter -- on Thursday met Telangana minister for information technology, KT Rama Rao, and made a representation on working closely to strengthen the entrepreneurial ecosystem in the new state.
The delegation familiarised the minister on the role and work done by TiE to promote entrepreneurship globally though its 60 chapters in different countries.
According to a press release, the delegation led by TiE Hyderabad president, Murali Bukkapatnam, discussed about Research Innovation Circle of Hyderabad programme, floated by previous state government, to boost research and fund innovations which could help the budding entrepreneurs to take the innovation to the next level.
It also proposed to start a number of incubation centres in the state which could play a significant role in not only nurturing the innovation based startups but will also help in creating thousands of jobs in the state.
The delegation also suggested that the new government should undertake a branding and marketing campaign to regain the confidence of the investors in Hyderabad.
