Court asks Raju's counsel ways to begin trial

B Ramalinga Raju The special court hearing multi-crore Satyam scam on Friday asked the counsel of former chairman of Satyam Computer Services B Ramalinga Raju to file an application on July 5 about possible ways to begin trial.

Prime accused Raju has been avoiding court proceedings since September citing health reasons.

Earlier, Dr Ajit Kumar, gastroenterologist, treating B Ramalinga Raju at Nizam Institute of Medical Sciences had appeared before the court and explained about Raju's condition.

He had informed the court that Raju would be administered an injection for Hepatitis-C on July 5 and would be examined afterwards.

The Central Bureau of Investigation on Thursday requested the court to summon Dr  Kumar to explain about Raju's health condition as it wanted to begin trail through video conference with the hospital.
