TCS plans to expand the Kochi Centre to about 600 software professionals in the coming months, a company release said.
The facility will serve as base for software development and IT services to meet the requirement of both domestic and overseas customers.
TCS already has a world-class training centre at Technopark, Thiruvananthapuram. The new TCS facility at Infopark Kochi will be spread across 72,500 sq ft on three floors of the 'Vismaya' building and will be fully functional by April 2005.
The expansion of TCS in Kochi will also help tap a large network of local highly skilled IT professionals.
