One-way tickets of Jet Airways between Mumbai-Kathmandu have zoomed to Rs 50,000 in October and above, with only the highest-level economy class fare and business class seats available on the route.

Jet Airways is the only Indian airline offering four weekly flights on the route and it also connects the Nepal capital via Delhi.
The return fare on Mumbai-Kathmandu route works out to be more economical, as lower slab economy class seats are available on return leg.
Return tickets on the route are priced between Rs 50,000 and Rs 60,000 on the route in October.
Nepal Airlines also offers direct flights on Mumbai-Kathmandu route with one way tickets priced at Rs 7,500, according to Yatra.com.
It, however, flies only twice a week on this route.
Tickets on one-stop flights on the route are being sold at upwards of Rs 10,000.
IndiGo and Air India operate single daily flights on the Delhi-Kathmandu route.
Nepal Airlines also flies between the two cities. Air India till Sunday is sold out and one-way economy class ticket on Monday to Kathmandu is being sold at Rs 21,120.
IndiGo is selling the cheapest one-way fare on the Delhi-Kathmandu route with tickets priced at Rs 10,083 on Friday and Rs 4,803 on Monday.
Jet Airways sources say flights on the Kathmandu route are full with a lot of inbound passengers from Gulf and Europe.
“The fares are system driven.
"Also, we see demand has picked up as people visiting Nepal during Navratri and Dussera,” an airline official said.
