For devotees of Shirdi Sai Baba, there is good news.
Jagson Airlines has started a chopper service from Mumbai-Shirdi and back.
The service was launched on October 18.
Jagson Airlines, which is a known entity in North India, already operates a similar service between Srinagar and Amarnath.
According to J P Gupta, chairman, Jagson Airlines, "There are many devotees of Shirdi Saibaba around the world, but in Maharashtra and especially in Mumbai, there are more devotees as compared to other places.
"Most of the film directors, music companies and film stars are big devotees of Shirdi Sai Baba. And being devotees of Shirdi Sai Baba, we have started this service with Sai Baba's grace. I hope we will get good response from Mumbai people," he said.
The daily flight will have a capacity 26 passengers and will take of from Juhu Aerodrome. The cost of the trip ranges from Rs 3,999 to Rs 8,000. The flight operates twice a day, except on Tuesday.
