India's largest motorcycle maker Hero Honda on Monday said its sales surged by 35 per cent to 195,000 units in January.
The cumulative (April-January 2003-04) sales went up by 17.2 per cent to 16.7 lakh (1.67 million) units over 14.2 lakh (1.42 million) units during the year ago period, a company statement said in New Delhi.
Last month, the company launched a variant of its Ambition motorcycle in the executive segment.
