General Motors India on Tuesday reported a 74 per cent sales growth to 1,401 units in April 2004 over 805 units in the same month last year and said it would bring in more 'Chevrolet' models.
"Continuing growth in sales of GM in India is primarily due to the tremendous response to 'Chevrolet Optra' and 'Opel Corsa' models. We plan to bring more new and exciting
'Chevrolet' products specifically designed for the Indian market," GMI vice-president P Balendran said in a statement.
