Mandeep Rai, trainee private banker, Coutts Group, London, excelled in her Investment Advice Certificate 3 competition, outshining 300 others.
Nilay Singh won the accolade for topping the contestants in Tower Hamlets College London in Introduction to Investment course.
The Securities and Investment Institute was formed in 1992 by members of the London Stock Exchange and it is now the pre-eminent professional body for those who work in the securities and investment industry in the United Kingdom. The awards were hosted by The Lord Mayor Alderman David Brewer in London on Monday night.
Other winners represented a range of firms including Goldman Sachs, which has 3 winning candidates. Royal Bank of Scotland has three winners, while two candidates each from Lehman Brothers Ltd, UBS Investment Bank, Barclays Capital and Smith Williamson Securities Ltd were also honoured.
