"Everyone in Satyam, including every vice president, knows how many projects they are doing and what is the profit margin before hand," a former Satyam employee said in an interview to a television channel.
"The sales and marketing guys are the people who raise the invoice for each and every project and they know how much money is going where. How can every one say no one knew except Ramalinga Raju?" the ex-Satyam hand said.
"Everyone knows that all the figures are fudged," he added.
Satyam has over 53,000 employees, whose fate still hangs in the balance after company chairman B Ramalinga Raju resigned from his post on Wednesday and also admitted to cooking company books over the past several years.
