When palaces turn into hotels...

May 05, 2008

Pataudi Palace hotel, Gurgaon, Haryana

Celebrating imperial Delhi, the Pataudi Palace pays tribute to the nawabi tradition of North India. Built by Nawab Ibrahim Ali Khan, this spectacular white palace was designed by Heinz in 1935.

The Patuadi Palace hotel belongs to the Neemrana group of hotels that has a veritable collection of 13 palace hotels from the 14th to the 21st century.

Spacious verandahs compliment the 16 airy rooms and suites that look over lush gardens of rose and cypress. The tables at Pataudi Palace boast of nawabi cuisine from Bhopal-Rampur.

The suites are named after the celebrated heirs of the Pataudi family like Mansur Mahal and Saif Mahal.

The tariff begins at Rs 3500.
