Meanwhile, members of the TC backed Krishi Jami Raksha Committee prepared to dig in its heels for an indefinite dharna outside the Tata Motors factory in Sungur beginning Sunday.
The Krishi Jami Raksha Committee is constructing 21 podiums in the surrounding areas of the factory complex as well as beside the Durgapur Expressway.
Despite tension prevailing in Singur over Sunday's agitation, work at the Tata Motors factory went on unhindered, official sources said.
Ratan Tata had, on Thursday, refused to give into Trinamool Congress' demand for shifting out the ancillary units away from the factory site.
Even those who want the Tata factory in Singur, feel that the ancillary units should be moved to some other spot.
"The ancillary units should be relocated but industrialisation is needed in Singur," said Manik Das.
Krishi Jami Raksha Committee convenor Becharam Manna today threatened to agitate till land of the "unwilling" farmers was returned.
