AirMe, a pioneer in the mobile application industry, on Wednesday announced the availability of AIRME on the Apple App Store for new iPhone users.
"AirMe is a free, easy-to-use downloaded application that allows iPhone users to take photos and have them instantly tagged and sent to the user's Flickr or Facebook accounts", it said.
All photos are auto-tagged with location, time, weather and any user customised information, it said. AirMe is currently being used in 56 countries around the world.
After downloading the AirMe application from the Apple App Store, the user simply launches AirMe and takes the picture.
Users could tag their photos and with the GPS enabled iphone.
They user also had the option of automatically tagging their pictures with their location, weather condition and temperature, it said.
"AirMe is about sharing the moment, in the moment" said Apoorva Ruparel, a founder member and VP Strategy and Marketing at AirMe.
AirMe is currently available on the iPhone and has plans to launch the application on the Nokia and Sony Ericsson platforms in the near future, with other phone platforms to follow, the statement added.
