RIL Q2 net up 28% at Rs 3,837 cr

Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Industries on Thursday posted a 27.9 per cent increase in net profit at Rs 3,837 crore  (Rs 38.37 billion) for the second quarter ended September 30 as compared to Rs 3,000 crore (Rs 30 billion) in the year-ago period.

The total income jumped 6.72 per cent to Rs 32,211 crore (Rs 322.11 billion) during the quarter ended September 30 as against Rs 30,181 crore (Rs 301.81billion) a year ago, the company informed the Bombay Stock Exchange.
