The Tata Safari is BIG, no doubt about that. It is also the most good-looking Indian SUV.
183 inches long and 75.5 inches wide and standing tall at 104.3 inches, the Safari casts an impressive shadow even today.
A closer look reveals some really nice touches which add interest to the design. A new honeycomb grille with a line of chrome in the centre, a large chrome Tata logo which dominates the front face and the big clear headlamps which were introduced with the Dicor dress up the corner of the vehicle really well. The new spare wheel cover is distinct, and hard to miss.
But the most important and most awaited change is under the hood. It puts the Safari back in the race with other SUVs. But let us not compare it with other SUVs. This one is on the road with a lot more power at less effort.
