Jet Airways: 14 years of flying high!

May 22, 2007

Global Ambitions: Jet Airways was the first private Indian carrier to fly abroad. It also operates daily international flights to Colombo, Bangkok, Kathmandu, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and London (Heathrow).

The airline plans to extend its international operations to North America, Europe, Africa and Asia in the coming years with the induction of wide-body aircraft into its fleet.

Jet Airways has now introduced a new corporate identity and aircraft livery. As part of its comprehensive plans to prepare for the airline's major thrust into international markets, the corporate identity has been given a refreshing look include a swirl of colour reminiscent of a typical Indian dupatta.

Jet Airways worked with Landor and Associates of London, to develop a look and feel for the airline that was consistent with the brand values of the airline, and grab the attention of International markets.

Since inception in May 1993 until end-February 2007, Jet Airways has flown about 70.5 million passengers.
