There are easily a thousand Dhirubhais, if not more. I firmly and sincerely believe in this’ he said. His words have not gone unheeded. He is the benchmark for many entrepreneurs today.
He brought the phrase 'think big' into the business world's lexicon. Indians today are making international acquisitions with the courage to make big strides.
We as a nation are rapidly shedding our image as ‘safe players’. Everybody today has a 'big plan'. Talk to a roadside vendor and you can see a restaurant in his dreams, talk to a driver and you can see a fleet owner emerging. Thinking big is everywhere and it's catching on even as I write this. Hope, has finally come to stay.
And we all have one person to thank for that -- Dhirubhai.
He was, and will continue to be optimism's best ambassador.
