Satyam inks deal with Danish co

Satyam Computer Services LtdĀ said on Monday it has signed a strategic partnership agreement with Denmark-based NNIT, a leading consultancy firm in IT operations.

The partnership includes the implementation of new SAP solutions, support and development of existing solutions, the company informed the Bombay Stock Exchange.

The partnership would combine NNIT's regional SAP experience and knowledge about the pharmaceutical industry with Satyam's global SAP experience and offshore development centres in India, US, UK, UAE, Canada, Hungary, Malaysia, Singapore, China, Japan and Australia.

"Satyam clearly has the largest and deepest SAP practice at present. Our track record and client references underscore our long-term investment in this area. Satyam will continue to invest in SAP and partnership like the one with NNIT to maintain a lead in this area," Satyam's regional director for Scandinavia, Mukund Grag, said.

The company's shares were trading at Rs 783.90, up 1.14 per cent at the BSE.
