Tata Walky with FM @ Rs 1,999

Tata Indicom mobile phone subscribers will now be able to tune in to their favourite FM station, with the telecom services provider introducing a new handset - Walky with FM - with the new feature.

The new feature is available on the Axesstel P830 instrument that offers a choice of 10 programmable radio stations and an option of setting their morning alarm ring tone to the FM channel of their choice, the company said.

The Tata Indicom 'Walky with FM' has been priced at Rs 1,999 with no extra charges for FM. The existing customers can also exchange their old instruments by paying a one-time, non-refundable charge of Rs 1,000, it added.

"With the new Tata Indicom Walky with FM, we wish to redefine the entertainment space in the country. We are confident and optimistic that our new 'Walky with FM' will

receive tremendous response from the market," Tata Telservices president Enterprise BU Vinayak Deshpande said.
