The $20 million company has a manpower strength of around 1,900 at present. Nipuna also indicated a capex of $6-7 million for this year.
Venkatesh Roddam, chief executive officer of Nipuna Services, said, "Our game plan to reach the $36 million mark in revenues will be to leverage both organic and inorganic growth. We will be adding two facilities in Hyderabad this year. Also, based on client demand we may even spread our operations to international locations like Malaysia, Budapest and Poland."
One of the reasons for Nipuna to consider setting up facilities outside India is to expand its multi-lingual support to clients. Within India, Pune was also a city where Nipuna could expand, Roddam said.
With regard to the investments for this year, Roddam said that though they had not yet finalised on any figure, it could be similar to what it was last year, which is $6 million-$7 million.
Meanwhile, Nipuna has also been talking of acquiring companies in payroll processing, procurement, financial accounting and the likes. An acquisition could happen in the next six-odd months, Roddam said.
Animation is also a sector that Nipuna is betting big on and according to Roddam, 30-40 per cent of the company's revenues can be expected from this segment.
